DELTA®-DRAIN - for horizontal applications

Drainage and protection system with high compressive strength for horizontal applications. DELTA®-DRAIN is versatile and can be applied under thin overlays with pavers, as well as in garden roof applications, i.e. extensive green roofs, where effective drainage is required.

Properties

DELTA®-DRAIN acts as a surface drainage course. The geotextile is thermally bonded to the dimpled core, and serves as a reliable filter medium to prevent the drainage core from clogging.

DELTA®-DRAIN is highly pressure-resistant, able to withstand loads of up to 5200 psf (250kN/sqm). The membrane is absolutely rot-proof. It also acts as reliable drainage for managing radon and methane gas.

Material

Dimpled membrane made of special high-density polyethylene and PP non-woven TYPAR® geotextile.

The high-density polyethylene drainage core with a specially designed dimple pattern provides high compressive strength and toughness, with an outstanding drainage capacity that makes it suitable for almost any horizontal application.

DELTA®-DRAIN is manufactured with an exclusive co-extrusion process, utilizing 100 % recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) from municipal recycling programs in the middle, and two thin layers of a specific grade of virgin HDPE on the outside. Using this process exclusive to the dimple sheet industry, our respect for nature and environmental protection, as well as our strong commitment to the sustainability of our products, is reconfirmed.

The encapsulation of the recycled HDPE ensures that DELTA®-DRAIN is protected against polymer degradation caused by oxidation and environmental influences like acidic soils or alkalinity (concrete).
DELTA®-DRAIN is equipped with a highly effective additive package. It is stabilized against oxidation, provides outstanding compressive strength, impact resistance, and chemical and environmental stress crack resistance.

Application

The product is easily unrolled on horizontal surfaces. Available in 6' and 8' wide rolls, DELTA®-DRAIN offers as the largest size drainboard available on the market today, saving valuable installation time.
