DELTA®-DRAIN is a highly effective drainboard that controls the flow of below grade water. Its high water-flow capacity ensures effective drainage for virtually any construction project. The drainboard enhances the effectiveness of waterproofing because it relieves hydrostatic pressure build-up against subterranean surfaces.

DELTA®-DRAIN can be used for drainage in hillside construction, residential and light commercial foundations, ICF-foundations, wall drainage over waterproofing applications, retaining walls, etc.

CCMC-13209 Foundation Drainage

The product is comprised of a 2-layer geocomposite.

The first layer is the high-density polyethylene drainage core that drains incoming water freely to the footing perimeter drain, thus preventing the build-up of hydrostatic pressure against the waterproofing layer. It also acts as highly effective protection layer for the waterproofing material during backfill operations.

The second layer is a heatbonded polypropylene geotextile. Securely bonded to the dimple crowns by a thermal process for lasting durability and performance, this geosynthetic material provides superb filtering performance. The rot-proof geotextile is highly water permeable, and prevents clogging of the flow passages in the drainage core. The result: continuous drainage of incoming water to the footing perimeter drain, thus protecting the foundation against water damage for many decades to come.

A dimpled membrane made of special high-density polyethylene and PP non-woven TYPAR® geotextile.

The high-density polyethylene drainage core with a specially designed dimple pattern provides high compressive strength and toughness, and an outstanding drainage capacity that makes it suitable for almost any application in residential and light commercial construction.

DELTA®-DRAIN is manufactured with an exclusive co-extrusion process, utilizing 60 % recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) from municipal recycling programs in the middle, and two thin layers of a specific grade of virgin HDPE on the outside. We use this process, exclusive to the dimple sheet industry, due to our respect for nature and environmental protection, as well as our strong commitment to sustainability of our products.

The encapsulation of the recycled HDPE ensures that DELTA®-DRAIN is adequately protected against polymer degradation caused by oxidation and environmental influences like acidic soils or alkalinity (concrete).
DELTA®-DRAIN, equipped with highly effective additive packages, is stabilized against oxidation and provides outstanding compressive strength, impact resistance, and chemical and environmental stress crack resistance.

The product is easily unrolled against the foundation wall. DELTA®-DRAIN is typically used in conjunction with liquid or sheet applied waterproofing.

The top edge of the drainboard should be at grade level, the bottom edge close to the perimeter footing drain. DELTA® Accessories are available for easy fastening and adequate termination details.

Available in 6' and 8' wide rolls, DELTA®-DRAIN is offered as the largest size drainboard available on the market today, saving valuable time during installation.
