DELTA®-DRAIN 6200

This heavy duty Drainboard is a specially manufactured version of DELTA®-DRAIN 6000 offering the ultimate in drain solutions by incorporating a plastic sheet adhered to the back surface of the drain core. This plastic sheet offers a protective layer on the flat side of the polypropylene core to prevent die cutting of soft liquid or sheet applied waterproofing products. It can also act as a slipsheet between the drainboard and the adjacent structure. DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 provides an extremely high drainage capacity, compressive strength, chemical resistance and long term performance.

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200

Material

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 consists of a three-dimensional, tear resistant core out of Polypropylene, a protective plastic sheet on the backside of the drainage core and a needlepunched, high-strength PP geotextile with excellent filter characteristics. Fully bonding the geotextile to the core's dimple structure prevents the geotextile from being pushed into the flow channels by back-fill material.

Water can pass freely and easily through the geotextile and into the drain core where gravity feeds it into the drainage system/pipes.

Product Characteristics

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 performs extraordinarily well as drainage layer to protect any underground structure against damage from water and moisture. The laminated Geotextile is resistant against high soil-pressures and prevents clogging of the drainage channels in the core product in a reliable manner. The ultra-tough drainage core, thermoformed out of a high-end Polypropylene grade, provides extremely high compressive strength to maintain the integrity of the dimples even under toughest conditions.

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 comes with a compressive strength of 723 kN per squaremeter (15,100 psf) and can be used at installation depths of 15m (45 ft) and more. This tough product provides water-flow rates for highest demands. Being the only Drainboard on the market made out of Polypropylene this product has unmatched chemical resistance and is totally unaffected by environmental decay.

Application

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 is a highly effective Drainboard System for below grade drainage in conjunction with liquid and sheet applied waterproofing, protection of foundation walls, roof and parking decks and as relief layer for hydrostatic pressure.

DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 can be easily installed as it comes in various roll sizes (4'x50' or 6'x50'). DELTA Accessories help to keep the installation fast and simple.
