DELTA® Air Barrier Systems support high-performance green buildings with a Health Product Declaration® v2.0

Jan 15th 2017 // Accreditation

Cosella-Dörken is proud to announce that DELTA®-VENT S and the self-adhering DELTA®-VENT SA air and moisture barriers have a Health Product Declaration® (HPD). Now, architects designing LEED buildings can be even more confident in these products because they are accepted by the Health Product Declaration® Collaborative.

The HPD is a flexible tool for achieving the LEED v4 Material Ingredient Reporting credit. It provides essential information for designers and builders to make healthier choices for human and environmental health, as well as a transparent and unbiased framework for manufacturers to cost-effectively report material health information.

The HPD Collaborative is a non-profit member organization committed to the continuous improvement of the building industry’s performance through transparency, openness and innovation in the product supply chain. The HPD Open Standard is a voluntary technical specification for reporting information on product contents and associated health information.
